Itinerary
Given the time difference and the travel time to Sydney, we recommend that you arrive on Thursday or earlier. After your arrival at the airport, make your way to the hotel and check in. If you have time, you can visit the expo.

If you have opted for a 3 night stay, your trip starts today. If you are arriving today please ensure you arrive in time to attend the welcome dinner cruise that starts at 7 PM as it is a not to be missed experience. There is ample time to get to the expo earlier today.
Meal: Breakfast (for Thu check-ins) & Welcome Dinner
We will head out on a small shake-out run/walk before breakfast. Later, we head out for a 90 min guided tour of one of Sydney's most historic areas - The Rocks. This exploration is planned with little walking and takes you to places you are absolutely not going to find on your own! The evening is free.

Today is race day! Enjoy the buzzing energy of the event as you run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses, taking in some of Sydney’s most spectacular and historic landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Later, join us for a party to celebrate at a local pub with your fellow runners.

Check-out time is 11 AM. We recommend extending your trip and taking a few extra days to explore Australia - visit the Great Barrier Reef or venture into the Outback.

All of our World Marathon Major packages come with guaranteed race entry.
All entrants must be aged 18 years or older on event day to participate in the Sydney Marathon.
All race bibs will need to be collected from the Sydney Running Show. Your travel documents will contain the information you need to reach the venue along with timings.
The start area is located at Bradfield Park, Milsons Point – under the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and adjacent to Milsons Point Train Station. The finish area for the TCS Sydney Marathon is the iconic Sydney Opera House. The Recovery Village is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens, located in Tarpeian Way, off Macquarie Street, approximately 300m from the Sydney Opera House.
It is advised that all participants take public transport to the event to avoid the large number of road closures that will be in place throughout the day, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge closing from 4 AM to 11 AM.
The route of the Sydney Marathon takes runners through Sydney's streets, with scenic views of the harbour, parks, and iconic landmarks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The TCS Sydney Marathon takes place in the Australian spring, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C.

She has lent her expertise to leading travel magazines as a writer and jury member. To her adventure means daring to follow one’s beliefs with conviction, even though sometimes they could take you to the end of the world!

Final Payment
- Full payment is due on or before 30 April 2026.
- Please ensure you set a reminder on your calendar since we do not follow up for payments individually.
- Bookings without final payments are auto-cancelled.
- Race registrations are sent only after we have received your final payment.
Transfer / Deferral Policy
- In the case of a booking with race entry included, your non-refundable deposit is specifically for the trip and the year that you have booked.
- Deferral to another year, and a transfer to / replacement for another participant with or without a fee is not permitted. Your non-refundable deposit cannot be applied to another event or year, even if Active Holiday Company is the official travel partner for the event.
- Bookings without race entry included can be transferred as per policy applicable to the booking.

- All costs exclude GST 5% and 5% TCS (for bookings made in India).
- All digital payments, including UPI, attract a 3% Platform Fee. Partial payments will be charged the fee to the extend that is paid via the digital platform. To avoid the 3% please arrange a direct bank transfer.
- Our prices are per person. Even if you have booked a single room for your exclusive use it is mandatory to pay for all your travel companions.
- The use of any service, including hotel services, by anyone who is not a paid participant is strictly prohibited.
- Active Holiday Company reserves the right to amend prices if the currency fluctuates more than 5%.
